Welcome

Hello and welcome to Galloway Yard Stables, formerly Sail Away Farm. So glad you could visit our farm. We're a medium-sized boarding barn outside of Galway, Ireland. Located just a few minutes from the Irish Sea, our weather is quite mild the year-round, though there isn't much sun. But in rain or shine, horseback rides on the beach are a treat that everyone enjoys. And when the rain pours down, that is when you know your in the Emerald Isle.

At Galloway Yard Stables, we have a variety of breeds, but our speciality is the Gidran Arabian. The Gidran Arabian, also known as the Hungarian Anglo-Arab or simply as the Gidran, excels in both under saddle and in harness. Our focus for these horses is Three Day Eventing, and they all have done very well. Our top stallion One of the Nine, aka Wraith, is himself a Gidran Arabian. He, as well as the other horses of Sail Away Farm, as shown Desultor what the beautiful Gidran breed can do.
